Join us for a night filled with delicious food and a series of activities that feature local entertainment and cultural experiences at every turn.  See where the night takes you as you explore the infamous George Street – an exciting street located in the heart of St. John’s that has more bars and pubs per capita than any other city in Canada.

 

You’ll get to sing and dance like true Newfoundlanders, but only if you pass the test first!

KITCHEN PARTY

A Kitchen Party is not just about food; they are about family and friends coming together to enjoy conversation and impeccable local music.

 

Music plays a huge role in Newfoundland culture. With its storytelling influence, distinct sound and strong links to England and Ireland, traditional Newfoundland music represents the province's history and culture and strengthens the link between generations, speaking to our unique Newfoundland character.

A fun filled, informative event that describes the history of trade in salt fish, rum and the many cultural influences it has stamped on the people of this island. Guests pay homage to both the fish which brought us to the island and the rum that keeps us here.
