Today you’ll get to experience Halifax to the fullest. Enjoy a city tour featuring Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, the luscious Victorian Public Gardens, and Fairview Lawn Cemetery - the final resting place of over 100 victims of the Titanic sinking. The rest of the day is yours to explore the urban core of Nova Scotia at leisure.

DAY 3
Discover the rustic charm of the renowned fishing village of Peggy’s Cove where you will enjoy breakfast overlooking one of the more photographed lighthouses in the world. Travel the South Shore to the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Lunenburg, renowned for her fleets of Grand Banks’ fishing schooners. Visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic to learn about the town’s famous seafaring heritage and enjoy an included lunch. Return to Halifax for an evening at leisure.

Today, you’ll travel the lush Annapolis Valley. Begin your day at Grand Pré National Historic Site, where the French Acadians made their first settlement in the early 1600s. Learn about this landscape’s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as fact and fiction blend to reveal the romance of the land of Evangeline. Continue across the valley to Planter’s Ridge Winery for a tour and tasting. Then, enjoy a delicious lobster lunch near dramatic tides at Hall’s Harbour Lobster Pound, before travelling to Digby for a one-night stay. Check into the Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa overlooking the Annapolis Basin on the Bay of Fundy.

Sail aboard the Fundy Rose Ferry to Saint John, Canada’s first incorporated city, on the southern New Brunswick coast. Enjoy a day trip to picturesque St. Andrews by-the Sea where the quaint charm of this coastal town is sure to captivate. Today, travel through Fundy National Park to Hopewell Rocks, site of the highest tides in the world. Experience true natural wonder this morning at Hopewell Rocks on the coast off the Bay of Fundy. Marvel at these massive flower-pot shaped formations sculpted by the highest tides on the planet. This afternoon, stop at Cape Jourimain for a spectacular view of the Confederation Bridge - the world’s longest continuous multi-span bridge – which you’ll be crossing onto Prince Edward Island. Check into your Charlottetown accommodation for a two-night stay and enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.

This morning, you’ll enjoy a walking tour of Charlottetown. Afterwards, tour the scenic North Shore of the island. Drive by red cliffs, white beaches, gently sloping sand dunes and green fields of Prince Edward Island National Park and visit Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place, the alluring inspiration of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s classic books. Experience true Maritime hospitality this evening at a traditional hall-style lobster supper.

DAY 9
Ferry over the Northumberland Strait back to Nova Scotia and journey to Cape Breton Island, the Scotland of North America, via the Canso Causeway. Upon arrival, visit Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site to learn of the many accomplishments of this genius who made his home on the island. Check into your Baddeck accommodation, where you’ll enjoy a three-night stay. After an early dinner this evening, attend a local Cèilidh, a traditional Gaelic social gathering with music and dancing.

Today, you will discover firsthand why Condé Nast magazine readers rated Cape Breton one of the top ten most beautiful islands in the world! You’ll be touring the Cabot Trail, named after explorer John Cabot, winding around the rocky splendor of Cape Breton’s northern shore, ascending into the plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, then continue along the trail and arrive back in Baddeck.

Begin your day with a visit and tour of the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site – a remarkable construction that portrays one-fifth of the 1744 New France settlement. Enjoy some leisure time in Sydney- home to the world’s largest fiddle before returning to Baddeck.
