Travel Agents
McCarthy's Party maintains its policy of no direct bookings from clients. Each year we are contacted directly by people interested in traveling to Newfoundland and Labrador. After we describe our tour and the efforts we take to help them truly enjoy an authentic Newfoundland experience, we refer them back to their travel agent to book the tour, airfare, insurance and any other product they require for their trip.
Our loyalty to travel agents has been repaid. Agents who sell our tour once will sell it over and over again. The immensely positive response they get from their customer earns them a customer who will give repeat business for other tours and trips.
McCarthy's Party pays commission on our 12, 8 and 7 day excursions that leave weekly from Deer Lake on the west coast of the Newfoundland. We also offer net rates and complimentary packages for group leaders and their groups. Each year we budget for joint marketing initiatives including direct mail pieces, advertisements, and presentations. Contact us for more details.
Customized Tours
Customized itineraries are also available. We have developed tour programs for many different interests including quilting groups, historical societies, hiking groups, wildlife groups, photographers and artists. These groups range in size from 6 people to full size coaches. All of the tours are conducted by local guides who have knowledge of the special interests of the groups. They also know the best locations in the province to experience the activities that the group will enjoy.
Guide Service
McCarthy's Party has a number of guides who lead tours of Newfoundland and Labrador. The guides are local men and women who know first hand the culture, language, history and scenic locations that make this such an interesting destination to visit.

Cruise Excursions
McCarthy's Party has been a part of the growing cruise ship industry in Newfoundland and Labrador since our inception. We offer large group tour activities for ships as well as private tours for groups onboard. Please consult or Daily Tours section for descriptions of tour for the St. John's Area. You should note that these are only suggestions. We have a number of customized day trips for groups that will allow participants to see parts of the area that standard cruise programs never visit or experience.
Vehicle Charters
