Accompanying Persons

McCarthy's Party Ltd. can handle all your needs for accompanying persons, including: social activities (tours, luncheons, etc.), registration, personalized badges, hospitality suites and entertainment. We will design programs for all ages and groups, such as children, spouses, guests, VIPs and more. Our wide variety of social activities and tours will have something to offer to all guests.

Shuttles And Transfers

McCarthy's Party Ltd. shuttles are designed to transport a large number of people between the airport and hotels, to the Convention Centre or other destinations for special events. A reliable transport service is guaranteed and our experienced staff assures that the vehicles are clean, modern, well-maintained and driven by professional drivers.Often, service is needed simply for the transfer of a group or individual, whether by limousine, sedan, minibus, or motor coach. McCarthy's Party Ltd. is there to deliver your transportation needs, quality guaranteed.

Hospitality / Information Desk

When holding an event in a hotel, a McCarthy's Party Ltd. hospitality desk can be extremely useful. Easily identifiable for participants, this desk is staffed by certified bilingual guides who can give information about the city, different activities, shows and exhibitions in town, restaurants and much more. Brochures and maps of the city can also be distributed for those in need of information.

If desired, the hospitality desk staff can be in charge of distributing tickets for different tours or activities to confirmed participants, or also sell tickets on site, make and confirm reservations, act as a message centre, etc.

Event Registration

McCarthy's Party Ltd. can coordinate a comprehensive registration system, from the publication of forms and brochures, the creation of custom databases, the processing of pre-registrations, payments, confirmations, accommodations, participation and registration reports, on-site registrations, set-up of on-site registration area including bilingual staff, signage and more.

Audio/Visual

Housing Bureau

Its extensive experience with all major hotel chains, allows McCarthy's Party Ltd. to assist you with your hotel accommodations, meetings, conferences and special events. McCarthy's Party Ltd. can set-up a housing office to manage all room reservations, individual or group for an event, be it for one hotel or several locations. This housing service involves the taking and recording of reservations by date, processing of deposits to guarantee rooms, and follow-up reports for verification and control.

Exhibit Management

Exhibitions offer companies and organizations working with conferences an opportunity to show their products and services to participants, thus strengthening ties between businesses, associations and individuals. McCarthy's Party Ltd. is available to take care of all levels of exhibit organization, including accounting (operating budget, invoicing and processing of payments, sale of exhibit booths), promotion (mailings, brochures, registrations and reports) and essential liaison between exhibitors, the event and the exhibition venue (floorplan, set-up and take-down, decor, contract, exhibitors manual, supplies, information and updates). The exhibition is an important part of an event. Well planned, it can also be a significant source of revenue.

Technical Tours

Technical tours are designed to explore event themes at off-site venues. This service involves the following elements: pre-registration, payment, reservation of site, host arrangements, and transportation (transfers or shuttles, to and from).

McCarthy's Party Ltd. will handle all technical tours logistics within the context of the general meeting registration system.

Site Selection

For any meeting or activity, a well-chosen site can make all the difference, for both participants and organizers. Whatever the event, the venue must be able to accommodate all requirements, including capacity, access, lighting, audiovisual elements, decor and others. McCarthy's Party Ltd. can find a site for all kinds of events, whether in the city - hotels, museums, convention centre, historical buildings and parks - or out.

Convention Centre Liason

One of McCarthy's Party's first tasks will be to review/ confirm all arrangements at the St. John's Convention Centre, and ensure that the space on hold is appropriate. In addition, McCarthy's Party Ltd. will handle: allocation of meeting space for all sessions, meals, exhibit, private meetings and social events, as well as information and special services to allow for the smoothest flow of traffic on the convention floor; schedule meetings to allow for most efficient and economical use of space.

Critical Path Management

McCarthy's Party Ltd. will work with the organizing committee to establish a mutually acceptable critical path that will be the working model for all conference planning and execution. This includes: preparation of a detailed critical path showing specific tasks and deadlines for completion; identification of responsibilities of both McCarthy's Party Ltd. and organizing committee to allow for best use of combined resources; regular updates of critical path reflecting progress and modified priorities.

Financial Reconciliation

At the end of your event, McCarthy's Party Ltd. will provide you with detailed financial reports outlining payments received, unpaid balances and refunds to be made.

The method of payment (credit card, cheque, wire transfer) will be indicated on the financial reports issued by McCarthy's Party Ltd. to account for all administration and banking charges incurred. Combined with the previous budget update, these reports will summarize revenues.
